Big-B Farm

Big-B Farm is a marquetry landscape composed entirely of natural wood veneers. Variations in grain, color, and figure are used in place of paint to define form, light, and depth. Directional grain suggests rolling fields, while carefully selected veneers create contrast in the barns, roofs, and silos. The composition reflects the quiet order and rhythm of rural farm life, celebrating both the simplicity of the subject and the expressive possibilities found within the natural character of wood.
