Sweet Dreams

This marquetry artwork depicts a gentle, dreamlike scene created entirely from natural wood veneers. A softly sleeping bear rests against a crescent moon, with carefully chosen wood tones and grain patterns conveying warmth, calm, and tenderness. The flowing background grain adds a sense of night sky movement, while the precise hand-cut details bring personality and emotion to the piece. Free from paint, the work highlights the natural beauty of wood and captures a peaceful moment that evokes comfort, childhood innocence, and sweet dreams.
